This was a neat show for a few reasons. It was our first time playing on a big boy stage through a big boy P.A. system, at the big boy's club, the Caledonia Lounge. We had a real-deal sound guy who did a great job; his name is Gene Woolfolk. It was Amy's first time eschewing her trusty autoharp in favor of some dulcet Casio-tones. And we were very fortunate to have Sloan Simpson come and record it. The rest of the gig was our usual set, but this recording is the only document of "Peace Fog." It was originally titled "Peace Nog," named in honor of the batch of horchata that Mat Lewis had been mixing up at the Power House. The name of the song changed in order to stand in opposition to the fog of war, and because The Doors. Oh and another reason to upload this jammer is to showcase the fancy artwork generously provided by Charlie Key, our pal from Bubbly Mommy Gun.
